Visqueen DPC/DPM Installation – Keeping Moisture at Bay! 💧🛡️

Here’s a close-up of our Visqueen DPC/DPM Installation in action! We're using Visqueen’s Self-Adhesive Membraneapplied over HP Tanking Primer to create an impenetrable barrier on the inside face of the blockwork. This clever combination ensures no moisture can sneak through the blocks into the building.

The self-adhesive membrane seamlessly runs down to the structural slab, overlapping by 200mm for extra protection. But that’s not all – we’ve got Visqueen’s Radon R400 (red) Polythene 1600 Gauge DPM overlapping the membrane for added strength, sealed tight with VisqueenPro Double-Sided Jointing Tape and Gas-Resistant Foil Lap Tape for a perfect seal.

This system keeps everything dry and secure, blocking moisture and protecting the structure long-term. It's a powerful and reliable solution for a solid foundation.
