The team is hard at work installing the Vapour Control Layer (VCL), a crucial step in ensuring your home stays comfortable and moisture-free. For this project, we’ve used 500 Gauge Polyethylene Sheeting – strong, durable, and budget-friendly.

The VCL acts as a barrier that prevents moist air from the inside of the building from seeping into the structure, where it can cause condensation and potentially damage the walls, floors, and ceilings. By controlling the movement of water vapour, this layer protects your insulation and keeps your home safe from moisture build-up.
